Hope Agbons Charity Foundation is committed to creating lasting solutions for vulnerable young people across our communities.
We work directly with youth and their families who are affected by poverty, lack of education, disability, and unemployment. Through a community-led approach and structured training programs, we equip them with the tools they need to become healthy, skilled, self-reliant, and successful.
For years, many well-meaning responses to poverty and vulnerability have focused mainly on relief — food, clothing, or short-term aid. While important, these efforts often leave young people dependent, with little long-term change.
At Hope Agbons Charity Foundation, we do things differently. We believe true transformation happens when youth are empowered with knowledge, skills, confidence, and community support. That’s why our programs focus on vocational training, education access, mentorship, and community engagement — so young people can grow into self-reliant, productive citizens.
At Hope Agbons Charity Foundation, we help vulnerable and disadvantaged youth move from survival to stability — and eventually, to success. Our focus goes beyond short-term relief. We prioritize health, safety, education, skills development, and a strong sense of belonging.
“I used to roam the streets looking for something to do. No one believed I could ever succeed. But through Hope Agbons Charity Foundation, I learned hairdressing, got mentoring, and started my own small salon. Now people come to me for training. I’ve found my confidence — and my future.”

We help young people return to the classroom by supporting access to formal education at the primary, secondary, and even tertiary level. We also offer career guidance, tutoring, and life-skill coaching to help them thrive.
“Before joining the foundation, I had no direction and felt forgotten. Now I’ve learned tailoring and can earn daily income. I even teach others. I never imagined this kind of change.”
We work with families to ensure that vulnerable youth are not just trained, but also emotionally and socially supported. Where possible, we help reintegrate children with their families and support them to stay engaged.
“I didn’t finish school, and I had no way to help my younger siblings. The foundation helped me learn baking and start a small shop. Now, I feed my family and send my sister to school. People now call me ‘madam,’ and that means something to me.”
We help young people recognize their potential as future leaders in their communities. Through training, mentorship, and real-life responsibility, youth gain the confidence to lead with purpose, courage, and compassion.
Our programs don’t just focus on skills — we also prioritize emotional well-being. Through group support, counseling, and encouragement, we create safe spaces where youth can heal, grow, and connect with others who understand their journey.
We instill the value of continuous learning through workshops, reading clubs, and personal development sessions. Youth are encouraged to stay curious, build knowledge, and adapt to new challenges with confidence and creativity.
The support offered by Hope Agbons Charity Foundation doesn’t end when a program is completed. Many of the young people we empower continue to grow, build on their skills, and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.
Together, we can empower Nigerian youth to become the solution that breaks the cycle of poverty, unemployment, and hopelessness.
